Last summer Mark Toorock filmed a commercial for A&E's The Fugitive Chronicles. Yes, of course he was the fugitive. The commercial is a pretty cool misdirect for a running commercial and is airing now on A&E. It was shot on film (pretty rare these days) and had the amazing Travis Graves as stunt coordinator.
John Morrison is among the most athletic and high-flying of all WWE Superstars. How does he do it? Well, he trains Parkour. In his new DVD, John Morrison: Rock Star, he takes you through his day to day, and that includes being able to Jam every sporting arena they go to.... Umm... AWESOME.
Skipper had a chance to catch up with him via phone interview, and got to do a little brain-picking. He's a very nice guy, fierce competitor, and all around incredible athlete. Stay tuned for the transcript of the interview, but most importantly, be sure to cheer on John Morrison in the WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View Match this Sunday at 8pm EST. He will be competing for the World Heavyweight Championship! www.WWE.com

Sad news for sure, really the first parkour website (November 2001) aside from a few French-only forums. In June of 2008 the parkour world was rocked when Jerome announced that Parkour.net would be closed. Now, the domain and site are for sale, Jerome writes: Jerome, the webmaster of Parkour.NET, has decided to sell Parkour.NET. He sells the domain name “Parkour.NET” obviously, plus the databases, few other domains (parkour related) etc.
You can find all details here : Parkour.NET is for sale.
It’s finally here... The magazine has gone to print today and will be on the shelves and distributed across the world on 24th February 2010, the first in print Parkour-specific magazine in the world. SPIKED and Parkour Generations are now working together to promote parkour in its truest form, giving an honest account of its humble beginnings, through to every aspect of its evolution while retaining the key values of the discipline. Parkour is an incredible visual spectacle but also holds a strong ethos, which is sadly too often missed in the current media. We really hope you enjoy this and future editions of the magazine, which will always aim to be a voice for the global community. It is available in UK stores and available to buy online with UK and worldwide delivery from both our homepage and www.getspiked.co.uk. Don't miss it!
NYC24's independent did a great photostory on Parkour in New York. The story features a bunch of the prominent traceurs in the NY community. There's also a video with guys like Pyro, Vert, Arfel, and Ish - with Owais quietly teaching in the background. It's a very positive story that shows parkour in a great light.

We'll keep you updated on events around the country and around the world, and we'll keep an official count of Leave No Trace efforts.
Every day we send out the APK Workout of the Day to nearly 5,000 APK members. Each month we send out The Freerunner online magazine/newsletter to over 6,500 people. Today, we acidentally sent a workout to the Freerunner people. We apologize for the mix up as we work hard not to send people email they didn't ask for!
APK has crews going to three different locations for professional Parkour and Freerunning work this week! One crew heads to San Antonio to film for ESPN, another to Bogota, Colombia for a live performance, and Jason Hanna is off to Caracas, Venezuela to film a tv commercial that will air in the Caribbean later this year.
